Our Slab Construction Process

Utilities and Reinforcement
Any under-slab plumbing, electrical conduit, or drainage lines get installed before the pour. We place steel rebar or welded wire mesh according to engineered specifications. Vapor barriers go down to prevent moisture migration from the ground. Forms are set to exact elevations using laser levels.
Pour and Finish
We use the appropriate concrete mix for your application, typically 3,000 to 4,000 PSI. The pour happens in a coordinated sequence to avoid cold joints. We screed, float, and finish the surface to specifications. For garage floors, we create a slight slope toward the door for drainage. Curing compound goes on immediately to retain moisture for proper strength development.
